REQUIREMENTS/DESCRIPTION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York State Registered Professional Nurses License required. Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening. Please refer to job description for complete requirements.

This unit provides holistic care using the multi-disciplinary approach to patients with urologic, nephrologic, and acute medical/surgical illnesses. This includes patients who are post-surgical, have acute medical needs, have gynecological or urological problems, require CAPD (excluding patients in critical care and on telemetry) or who require dialysis and are acutely ill. The unit is equipped with 35 beds, including one isolation room, 14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms and one treatment room. There are 44 FTE's on the unit with a staffing mix of 60% RN, 10% LPN and 30% NA's. All Registered Nurse staff is required to complete education and competency in care of CAPD patients.
