REQUIREMENTS/DESCRIPTION: Licensed or license eligible as a NYS Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. ACLS, ATLS, PALS preferred. Prescription privileges preferred. May be scheduled to cover other shifts. *WAIVER REQUIRED Please refer to job description for complete requirements.

Fast Track is a 9 bed unit located within the Emergency Care Center. Operational hours are 7am to 10pm. The unit evaluates and treats minor illnesses and injuries. Approximately 25,000 patients are seen in this area of the ECC yearly.

Service goals for the FT include a turnaround time of sixty minutes or less from arrival to discharge. Sixty percent of our patient visits meet that goal.

The unit is staffed with physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, liscensed pratical nurses, emergency medical technicians and assistive clerical personnel. Medical oversight is provided by an ECC physican.

•	80, Regular Full Time, Four 12 hour shifts of 0700-1930*, 1100-2330* and 4 eight hour shifts of 0700-1530, 1100-1930, 1500-2330, each week. (80 hours per pay period). Weekends and holidays as scheduled.
