to alleviate pain. A licensed acupuncturist, Dr. Becker will also

Mayor's Cup 5K Run/Walk
Saturday, July 12, 8:30 a.m. at the Wellness Center at PARC, New York Road. Pre-race registration is $12 (prior to July 3) while registration on the day of the race is $15. The family registration fee (2 or more family members) is $30. The first 50 participants to register before July 3 will receive a t-shirt. The event benefits "Go Red For Women." This fund assists the American Heart Association's ongoing research and education about women and heart disease. Registration forms are available by calling the Wellness Center at PARC, 324-2024. 

2008 CVPH Mayor's Cup Mountain to Lake Bike Ride
Sunday, July 13 at 8:30 a.m. Cyclists will begin the ride at the Whiteface Mountain Ski and complete the 50 mile course at the Wellness Center at PARC on New York Road, Plattsburgh. Pre-ride registration (prior to July 2) is $30 per person. Registration on the day of the event is $35. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. at the Whiteface Mountain Ski entrance on the day of the ride. A box lunch is included in the fee. The first 150 pre-registered participants receive a t-shirt. A shuttle service to Whiteface Mountain will be provided with priority given to pre-registered participants.

Funds raised by this event will benefit the CVPH Travel Fund which assists income eligible families with travel expenses related to health care not available locally.
