Welcome to the Physician Recruitment section of the CVPH Website. CVPH and Clinton County, New York are great places to practice medicine. Our physicians live where others come to vacation. What follows is a brief description of the recruitment efforts currently under way. We have approximately 151 physicians on our Medical Staff; more than 93 percent are Board Certified (a requirement within three years of joining the staff). The staff consists primarily of private practitioners in solo or small group practice. Our geographic area is ideal for those who place a high value on quality of life in combination with a satisfying professional career. The hospital offers assistance with relocation expenses. This is a wonderful place to live and raise a family; one of the area's most treasured assets is the progressive Medical Center which provides a wide range of quality programs and services for its Medical Staff and community.

- A regional referral hospital, CVPH provides high quality care to 160,000 residents of a tri-county area. Last year, the average daily census was 260.
- There are more than 156 physicians on the Medical Staff, 92 percent of whom are Board Certified.
- Some 2006 statistics: 11,751 admissions, 972 births, and 18,104 surgical procedures.
- CVPH offers excellent, accredited continuing medical education programs.

- This year CVPH is introducing open-heart surgery and coronary angioplasty services to meet a significant community need.
