Located on the 6th Floor of CVPH Medical Center, the Skilled Nursing Facility staff offers its 54 residents many advantages including:

• Ready access to health care and a choice of physicians.
• 40 private rooms, each with private baths.
• A wider selection of menu choices and a unique style of serving meals in the residents' dining area. Residents benefit from the ability to make last-minute changes in menu selection because or the buffet-style meals. Temperature retention of the food is rated at the highest level.
• A leisure time Activity Program that includes community outings.
• A newly constructed lounge area and newly decorated hallways.

Staff is interdisciplinary with teams comprised of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, social services, nutrition services, rehabilitative therapists and an activities specialist. They strive to encourage residents to reach their maximum potential through participation in activities of daily living, rehabilitation, socialization and recreational programs. The CVPH Skilled Nursing Facility is licensed and accredited by the New York State Department of Health and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Facilities.
