CVPH's trained staff are dedicated to improving the health and awareness is its community.

North Country On The Job Network is a voluntary injury management program formed by area employers, medical providers, CVPH Medical Center and the Plattsburgh-North Country Chamber of Commerce. Since its development in 1996, the Network's on-going commitment has been to facilitate a safe work environment for the employee and the reduction of Workers' Compensation costs for the employer.

Case coordinators concentrate on early intervention, quality medical care, immediate employer/employee/medial provider communication, and reduction in lost work time. On The Job Network has won national recognition as a model program for nurse case coordination services for worker injuries and illnesses.

North Country On The Job Network offers a broad range of Occupational Health Services beyond the case coordination. These services are offered at a competitive rate and include:

  • Urine Drug Collection (24 hour service){DOT Certified}
  • Breath Alcohol Testing (24 hour service){DOT Certified}
  • Physical Examinations
  • OSHA required Exams (incl. Lead/Asbestos)
  • DOT Physical Examinations (incl. CDL)
  • Ergonomic Consulting Services
  • Qualitative Respirator Fit Testing
  • Spirometry
  • Vision Testing
  • On-Site Nursing/Wellness Services
  • Vaccinations including Hepatitis A and B, tetanus and flu vaccine
  • Tuberculin Testing/PPD
