North Country On The Job Network is a voluntary injury management program formed by area employers, medical providers, CVPH Medical Center and the Plattsburgh-North Country Chamber of Commerce. Since its development in 1996, the Network's on-going commitment has been to facilitate a safe work environment for the employee and the reduction of Workers' Compensation costs for the employer.
Case coordinators concentrate on early intervention, quality medical care, immediate employer/employee/medial provider communication, and reduction in lost work time. On The Job Network has won national recognition as a model program for nurse case coordination services for worker injuries and illnesses.
North Country On The Job Network offers a broad range of Occupational Health Services beyond the case coordination. These services are offered at a competitive rate and include:
- Urine Drug Collection (24 hour service){DOT Certified}
- Breath Alcohol Testing (24 hour service){DOT Certified}
- Physical Examinations
- OSHA required Exams (incl. Lead/Asbestos)
- DOT Physical Examinations (incl. CDL)
- Ergonomic Consulting Services
- Qualitative Respirator Fit Testing
- Spirometry
- Vision Testing
- On-Site Nursing/Wellness Services
- Vaccinations including Hepatitis A and B, tetanus and flu vaccine
- Tuberculin Testing/PPD
