Direct Admission Program

Occasionally, a doctor will decide to admit you to CVPH directly from your appointment at his or her office. Our direct admission program is expressly designed for your convenience. Within 30 minutes of your arrival at CVPH, we routinely are able to carry out your laboratory work, EKG and chest x-ray and have you in your hospital bed.

How Direct Admit Works

• Your doctor initiates everything. He/she will either fax orders to us or ask you to hand carry them.
• Park and enter at the Fast Track/Ambulatory Entrance that is next to the Emergency Care Center. Proceed straight ahead, walking past Fast Track. The hallway comes to a T right where you want to go. Enter at the door marked "Admitting Nurse."
