Service is something Joe Patnode takes very seriously. As a plant operations/mechanic in the CVPH Facilities Department he works tirelessly maintaining the boiler and water systems here. His skills keep our vast facility working smoothly and efficiently. Joe joined the CVPH team as a security guard and was active in the United States Naval Reserves for 23 and half years, including a tour in Afghanistan. His involvement in the Civil Air Patrol began when he was asked to help train cadets in map and compass reading. His son was a cadet in the local group and Joe joined so he could be more involved. Today, he’s helping local youths learn about service to their community and their country.
