Spiritual Care
CVPH believes in caring for the whole person: body, mind and spirit. In addition to your medical care, emotional and spiritual care is available for patients and their loved ones. The hospital chaplains are available to listen, to comfort and to help draw religious or spiritual strength. Chaplains are available for patients, family members and friends.
Our hospital chaplains respect your religious tradition and life experiences. They take an interfaith approach and come to support rather than persuade. They also welcome the involvement of your home clergy while you are being cared for here. They will be glad to help you contact clergy of any faith to visit and provide comfort for patients and families.
Interfaith Chapel
A beautiful chapel is available for prayer, quiet and meditation day and night, seven days a week. Patients, families and hospital staff are always welcome. The interfaith chapel is located on the second floor adjacent to the FitzPatrick Cancer Center and proximal to the Emergency Care Center, Intensive Care Unit, Surgery and the Catheterization Labs.
