Live Well With Congestive Heart Failure
How To Live With Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), takes place Wednesday, June 5 in the Warren Ballrooms, Angell College Center, SUNY Plattsburgh. The free community lecture features Ann S. Laramee, MS ANP-BC, CHFN clinical nurse specialist and nurse practitioner, Cardiology and Palliative Care Services at Fletcher Allen Health Care. Light refreshments and registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the program at 6.
Practicing good self care can help those with congestive heart failure live better. Understanding the basics of the disease and how it's managed are some of the first steps to a better quality of life. Laramee will offer an overview of CHF and some great information about living well despite it. This program is ideal for those with CHF, their families, loved ones and caregivers.
