Extraordinary cost inflation and the lasting effects of COVID-19 are exacerbating existing pressures on rural hospitals and health systems, with too few health care workers to meet the growing needs of our communities. Within this challenging context, we are continuing our work to improve access, attract and retain a diverse workforce, and build long-term sustainability.
