See Ya, Saddlebags!
Liposuction is a safe, minimally invasive and relatively convenient way to remove fat cells and sculpt almost any area of the body.
You run every day and take the stairs at work instead of the elevator. On the weekend, you log miles on your bike but still, those saddlebags on your thighs just won’t go away. Liposuction may be a good solution to your saddlebag problem. It is a convenient option offering almost immediate results and very little post-procedure downtime. Many liposuction patients say that having the procedure not only improved their “look” but boosted their confidence.

Face, chin and neck
Unlike other trouble spots on the body that can be hidden and temporarily re-contoured with body shapers and strategic wardrobe choices, the face, neck and chin are always visible. Removing excess fat from these areas is a permanent fix for a more youthful appearance. For patients with excessive wrinkles and drooping skin, I discuss both non-invasive (fillers) and invasive (facelifts) procedures to be done in tandem with liposuction.
Upper arms
Liposuction of the arms, especially the upper arms, is very common. It has a high patient satisfaction rate and, in fact, can be done while the patient is awake. It reduces the size of the arms, but if you have loose skin, you may opt for a skin tightening procedure as well.
Abdomen
Liposuction is the most effective way to remove pockets of fat that is most resistant to diet and exercise found beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscle. It is especially effective for women, who have softer, less fibrous fat than men. Liposuction of the abdomen re-contours the midsection and gives figure flattering flat bellies to both women and men.
Inner and outer thighs
Another area of the body that is stubbornly resistant to diet and exercise is the thigh area. Liposuction can reshape the thighs, give proper and proportionate contour and save your corduroys. Liposuction of the inner and/or outer thighs can pare you down a pant size or two overnight.
All liposuction procedures are minimally invasive, and most patients return to daily activity and work very quickly. Power-assisted instruments help easily break down and remove fat through an incision no bigger than an eighth of an inch, leading to enhanced results and a quicker recovery.
Some areas, such as the arms, chin and love handles can be done as an outpatient procedure while the patient is awake. Others, depending on the amount of fat being removed, require an overnight hospital stay with IV hydration.
