People with newly diagnosed diabetes, Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes or pre-diabetes can benefit from diabetes education. It can help you gain better control over your diabetes and enables you to better manage your blood glucose.
We offer a variety of services to assist you in managing your diabetes. This includes:
- Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME)
- Individual consultation with a diabetes educator
- Medical NutritionTherapy (MNT)
- Insulin training
- Insulin pump training
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Support groups
We are recognized by the American Diabetes Association for quality self management education.
Appointments require a referral from your physician or primary care provider. Medicare and most private insurances cover American Diabetes Association Recognized Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) or Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT).
