Nutrition Services For Patients
Our goal in Nutrition Services is to add to the complete patient experience.
Your physician will predetermine the diet that is best for you upon your admission. Should you have any questions on your diet, a dietary representative will meet to review your meal preferences on a daily basis. If you have any allergens, cultural needs or other reasons to avoid certain foods, your dietary team will work with you to ensure your nutritional needs are met. Any personal preferences can be reviewed with our dietary staff.
In addition to our main menu choices, we provide alternative menus upon request. These menu items are catered to your diet and help to increase the variety available to you.
Should you have any educational needs, our highly qualified registered dietitians are available for diet education 7 days a week, from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
6:15am - 8:00am (with hot items available until 9:00am)
11:15am - 1:00pm (with hot items available until 2:00pm)
4:15pm - 6:00pm (with hot items available until 7:00pm)
Should you be admitted outside of the meal service times,or are not present in your room during meal services times, your unit has a fully stocked kitchenette. Please speak with your medical team if you haven't received a meal during the daily meal times.
Dietary Outpatient Services
If your doctor orders a consultation for you, call (518) 314-3951 to speak to a dietician. You may also call the dietician on your own, however this may be an out of pocket expense if your physician did not order the consultation. Please speak your health care team for more information.
