Stepping Out For Your Heart

Due to the rise in COVID cases The Foundation of CVPH has decided to postpone our annual Stepping Out For Your Heart event which was scheduled for February 17.  A new date will be announced when we feel that we can safely gather to promote heart health in women.

Attend a special evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness to end heart disease and stroke for all women. The evening will include live & silent auctions and heart healthy dinner.  Attend one of our breakout sessions –chair yoga and focused breathing with Jess Bouharevich from White Rainbow Farm, or fat and fiber in your diet by Registered Dietician Marla Given. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Aron Steward who will discuss stress, mental wellbeing and your heart. Proceeds will benefit The Foundation of CVPH for the UVM Health Network-CVPH Heart Center and will directly impact the care of cardiology patients’ in our local region. Tickets are $65 each - special senior citizen price (65 and older) of $50 each. Learn more about our Stepping Out For You Heart event. 


Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Saturday, March 12 at Valcour Brewing

Join The Foundation of CVPH and Adirondack Coast Event on Saturday, March 12 at 11 a.m. for the Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K.  It starts and finishes at Valcour Brewing Company in a two-loop race that creates a flat, fast route. Cost to register is $25 and all proceeds of this race benefit The Foundation of CVPH. Learn more about the Shamrock Shuffle 5K.


Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 16 on the front lawn of CVPH at 10 a.m. sharp

Known as the fastest 2 minute event in Plattsburgh, our annual Easter Egg Hunt is open to children age 10 and younger with a separate area for kids 3 and under. Over 10,000 eggs are stuffed and placed on the hospital lawn for hunting. Learn more about the Easter Egg Hunt.


Abbott/Coffey Golf Tournament

Friday, June 3 at Adirondack Golf Course

This annual golf tournament sponsored by The Hoffman Eells Group in memory of Jim Abbott and Dick Coffey is scheduled for June 3 with a 12 Noon shotgun start. Sponsorship includes a team of four players, hole sponsorship sign, lunch and a post golf awards ceremony. This tournament sponsors Foundation programs that improve health and wellness in our community. Learn more about the Abbott/Coffey Golf Tournament.


Summer Event

Saturday, June 11

The Foundation’s largest yearly fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 11 and will be a Parisian themed dinner/dance with proceeds benefiting many Foundation programs. This very chic event will have live entertainment, dancing, food and drinks and fabulous live and silent auction items. Proceeds from this event stay right here in our community helping family, friends and neighbors. At this event the Larry W. Girls Night Out

Tuesday, October 11

Girls Night Out, a celebration of breast cancer awareness and humor, will be held on Tuesday, October 11. This event’s mission is reminding women how important it is to take care of themselves – mind, body and spirit - while raising funds for many community programs that have a lasting impact. Event features entertainment, a local health expert and a keynote speaker who is either a comedian or motivational speaker. And of course, the annual Boobie Prize will be awarded to someone who has made a difference in the local fight against breast cancer. Learn more about Girls Night Out


Hosting a Third-Party Fundraiser

Thank you for your interest in planning an event to benefit The Foundation of CVPH.  The Foundation oversees all fundraising activities for the University of Vermont Health Network-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital.  Funds raised through third-party events help to support and embrace our mission of ... Working together we improve people’s lives.   We welcome this philanthropic spirit and will assist you to the extent that we are able to. 

Attached are guidelines intended to assist you in working with The Foundation in the most beneficial manner.  It is our intent to be clear about what assistance we are able to offer and at the same time, make sure that the individual/organization understands what its responsibilities will be as a third-party fundraiser.
