Foundation of CVPH Presents Men’s Night Out on November 8
Education, good food, craft beer, an auction and music highlight annual event


PLATTSBURGH, NY (10/23/2018) – The Foundation of CVPH’s 3rd Annual Men’s Night Out will be held Thursday, November 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Valcour Brewing, 49 Ohio Drive, Plattsburgh.  The evening features great food, music by Craig Hurwitz, a silent auction and presentations focused on two separate topics, heart disease and genetic testing. 

Joel Wolkowicz, MD, cardiologist, will present Misconceptions of Heart Health and William Staub will discuss his experience as a cardiac event survivor.  Discussing the role of genetic testing in health care will be a representative from Myraid, an international company focused on revolutionizing patient care through molecular diagnostic tests.  MyNBC5 News Anchor Stephanie Gorin will share her personal experiences with genetic testing.

Men’s Night Out is held each year to raise awareness and educate men on serious health issues.   Tickets are $20 each and can be directly purchased through www.cvph.org/Foundation/Mensnightout as well as at Valcour Brewing Company.
