CVPH Announces 2019 Summer Concert Series - Local agencies highlighted at free community events
PLATTSBURGH, NY (05/10/2019) -- The University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) announced its 2019 Summer Concert Series schedule today featuring local musicians and benefiting health care related organizations and The Foundation of CVPH.
“Our concert series celebrates the partnerships that make our community stronger and healthier. It’s also offering us an opportunity to share our wonderful campus and enjoy a great summer evening with family and friends,” explained CVPH President Michelle LeBeau.
The 2019 CVPH Summer Concert Series kicks off Thursday, June 13 with a performance by BBB: Bruce, Bill & Bobby. It’s one of four planned for the second Thursday of each month throughout the summer. The free concerts will take place on the hospital’s front lawn, weather permitting. Each will highlight a community partner who will have an informational display at the event. CVPH will make a donation to the community partner for each event as well as to the Foundation of CVPH.
The remaining schedule is as follows:
Thursday, July 11: Midnight Moonshine highlighting Meadowbrook Healthcare
Thursday, August 8: Towne Meeting highlighting the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) of Champlain Valley
Thursday, September 12: Movin’ On highlighting Champlain Valley Family Center
Mr. Ding-a-Ling will be parked on the CVPH campus selling ice cream and other frozen treats during the events. Concert goers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Parking is conveniently located in the Medical Office Building lots, just off the Cornelia Street entrance to the CVPH campus. CVPH prohibits smoking, alcohol and glass containers on its campus.
