Vendor Displays Added to Updates on Living Well with Diabetes Event
CVPH Community Lecture focused on latest diabetes medications, technology & devices 


PLATTSBURGH, NY (06/05/2019) – Representatives from Dexcom, Medtronic, Omnipod and Novo Nordisk will be on hand at the upcoming CVPH Community Lecture, Updates on Living Well with Diabetes planned for Tuesday, June 11 at the West Side Ballroom, 253 New York Rd. Certified Diabetes Educators Ann Watts, RD and Catherine LaPier, RN both of the CVPH Family Medicine Center will be the guest speakers at the free program that begins at 6 p.m. 

Watts and LaPier will provide updates on new technology and “gadgets” that can be used by some with diabetes to monitor blood sugar levels and manage other aspects of the disease. They’ll also discuss new medications, the new food label and answer any questions about living well with diabetes.  Vendor displays will include information about some of the new technology and devices.
