Strive to Thrive Support Group Available to Women with Cancer
November meeting to focus on immunotherapy


PLATTSBURGH, NY (10/31/2019) – Immunotherapy and its role in treating cancer will be discussed at the next Strive to Thrive Support Group meeting planned for Tuesday, November 12 at the FitzPatrick Cancer Center.  Rachael Hite, NP, oncology nurse practitioner, will present Immunotherapy: A New Way of Treating Cancer at 6 p.m. 

Sponsored by the FitzPatrick Cancer Center, Strive to Thrive meets monthly at the Cancer Center offering women with cancer an opportunity to find strength and hope among others managing life during or after treatment. The 2-hour meetings include presentations and time to share. They are open to all regardless of the type or stage of cancer.
