Brandon Sur, MD and Bo Liu, MD join CVPH Vascular Interventional Team

PLATTSBURGH, NY (11/14/2019) – Two new radiologists have joined the University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital (CVPH) Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) team.  Brandon Sur, MD and Bo Liu, MD join Julio Lemos, MD, Steven Deso, MD and Bill Staub, PA in providing VIR services to the North Country.

VIR is a medical specialty that provides minimally invasive image-guided diagnosis and treatment of disease. Patients often benefit from less pain and shorter recuperation time.

The team provides a wide range of VIR procedures in CVPH’s state-of-the-art VIR facility.  Drs. Lemos and Deso also see patients and perform procedures at Alice Hyde Medical Center’s new facility in Malone.

Dr. Liu graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Medicine and completed a residency in radiology at the Florida Hospital, Orlando, FLA before becoming a fellow in interventional radiology at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Miami, FLA.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, OH, Dr. Sur completed a residency in radiology at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester. He completed fellowships in vascular and interventional radiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, NY.

“Drs. Sur and Liu are welcome additions to our team, allowing us to meet the growing demand for VIR services in our region,” said Dr. Lemos who serves as the VIR Medical Director.

Both physicians have also joined Associates in Radiology of Plattsburgh and are members of the CVPH Medical Staff.
