Eating for Better Health Focus of February Strive to Thrive Group - Support Group for women with cancer explores new dietary guidelines

The New American Plate: Eating for Better Health, a presentation by Tori Hufendick BS, will be part of the Tuesday, February 11 Strive to Thrive Support Group meeting at the FitzPatrick Cancer Center.  Hufendick is a dietetic intern for CVPH Nutritional Services Department.

Sponsored by the FitzPatrick Cancer Center, Strive to Thrive meets monthly at the Cancer Center offering women with cancer an opportunity to find strength and hope among others managing life during or after treatment. The 2-hour meetings include presentations and time to share. They are open to all regardless of the type or stage of cancer.
