CVPH Family Medicine Center Accepting Pediatric Patients
The University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) Family Medicine Center continues to accept pediatric patients.
“As family medicine physicians, we are trained to take care of people at every stage of life --we can care for the entire family,” explained Marianna Worczak, MD. Worczak is one of 30 practicing providers, including Family Medicine Residents, at the center. Located at 159 Margaret St., the Family Medicine Center team cares for people of all ages – from newborns to seniors. Family Medicine residents are physicians who are training to be specialists in Family Medicine.
“This team of providers, residents, nursing and support staff is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of all of our patients. Ours is a holistic approach and the goal is always to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care,” Worczak explained. Annual health physicals, sports check-ups, illness and injury evaluations and chronic disease More Add 2 screening are some of the services provided to pediatric patients. Same day sick appointments, emergency and after-hours care with 24-hour provider coverage are also offered.
In addition, the Family Medicine Center team also offers women’s health and gynecology services, psychiatric and mental health services, an infectious disease clinic and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder.
