Foundation of CVPH annual event to benefit patient-centered programs
PLATTSBURGH, NY (5/30/2025) – People across the North Country are cordially invited to an elegant and immersive evening in support of patients in the region. The Foundation of Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is hosting a masquerade party for its annual fundraiser. The fun takes place Saturday, June 14 at 5:30 pm in the Gold Room at Rainbow Banquet Hall, located at 47 Woods Falls Road in Altona.
Known for its intricate décor and fun themes, this chic fundraiser is The Foundation’s largest of the year. Music from the Pop Show Band, dinner, and live and silent auctions are among the many highlights of the evening.
Money raised from the event will go toward a number of programs that benefit CVPH patients, employees and the community. The Foundation also helps fund purchases of state-of-the-art equipment at the hospital, programs ensuring a successful transition home for patients after discharge, continuing education and advanced training for employees, and initiatives geared toward improving the health of the community.
During the event, The Foundation will also celebrate Carol and Steve Carpenter as this year’s recipients of the Larry W. Jeffords Legacy Award. The Carpenters have been generous supporters and champions of The Foundation in a variety of ways for many years.
“We also want to thank our many sponsors, nearly 30 so far, who are graciously giving to support our patients and our health care workers. They are just as important in making a difference in the health of our communities,” says Michelle Senecal, events and special projects manager for The Foundation. Among the top sponsors this year: Casella, Champlain Valley Electric Supply, Della Kia of Plattsburgh and Luck Brothers, Inc.
Guests are encouraged to add a touch of mystery and flair by pairing their outfits with masks, whether elegant, fun or bold. Anyone needing a ride home can take advantage of a complimentary shuttle anywhere in the North Country provided by Rainbow Banquet Hall.
Tickets are still available for the event and cost $125. They can be purchased on the Foundation’s event website. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, June 6. Anyone with questions can contact Senecal at 518-314-3359 or msenecal@cvph.org.
