Dr. Jean Dejace is an infectious disease physician at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT.

Dr. Dejace has a strong interest in HIV/AIDS, tropical medicine, tick-borne diseases and antibiotic resistance. He finds particular satisfaction in taking on difficult cases, making patients feel better and teaching the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Dejace grew up in New Orleans with a father who was an HIV doctor and a mother who was a public school teacher. He prefers his patients call him by his first name, Jean.
