Family Medicine Residency
Our family residency trains family physicians, to excel in patient-centered care for our community.
The University of Vermont Health Network has successfully launched its Family Medicine Residency Program, a community-based program at the UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. This program is ACGME accredited since July 1, 2015.
Our Family Medicine Residency trains family physicians in a non-competitive setting to excel in the leadership of high-quality and high value, patient-centered care for people of all ages in their communities. Residents will benefit from a dedicated faculty and the opportunity to mentor medical students from the University of Vermont at a thriving community hospital.
