Wellness Resources
CVPH provides a wide array of prevention and wellness programs for people of all ages.
Taking good care of yourself while you are healthy is the best way to help prevent serious illness and injury later in life. That includes everything from exercising and eating right, to getting adequate amounts of sleep to maintaining mental and emotional wellness.
Although our core business is providing a wide range of medical services, CVPH and the Foundation of CVPH are proponents of health and wellness. CVPH invests in promoting healthy lifestyles with a variety of educational programs, support groups, health screenings and monthly community lectures.
Education is a key component of our services. We help you recover from illness or injury while providing you with information about how you can get better faster and avoid future health problems. No matter how excellent the care may be that is provided at CVPH, ultimately you are the most important person in maintaining your own health and wellness. We encourage you to take good care of yourself and take advantage of the various avenues we provide to help lead a healthy lifestyle.
As a Joint Commission accredited hospital, we are pleased to be able to offer our patients a wealth of information about being an informed health care consumer.
