CVPH Welcomes Three New Physicians

Three physicians have joined the CVPH Medical Staff. New to the medical staff are Jay Reichbach, MD, anesthesiologist, Anthanasios Tournas, MD, otolaryngologist and Joe Choufani, MD, cardiologist.

Dr. Reichbach is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Camden, NJ . He completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is board certified in anesthesiology. Dr. Reichbach has joined the CVPH Department of Anesthesiology, 75 Beekman St., Plattsburgh.

Dr. Tournas’ office is located at 210 Cornelia St., Suite 204, Plattsburgh. He is a graduate of McGill University, Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Tournas completed a residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at the University of Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Quebec and a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, Richmond, Va. His office number is 563-8050.

Joining Lake Champlain Cardiology Associates is Dr. Choufani. Dr. Choufani is a graduate of the Lebanese University Faculty of Medical Sciences, Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his internal medicine residency there and at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, NY. A fellowship in cardiology was completed at the University of Montreal Heart Institute, Montreal. Dr. Choufani is board certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease and echocardiography. His office is located at 214 Cornelia St., Suite 203, Plattsburgh. The CVPH Medical Staff includes 163 physicians and 28 consulting physicians. More than 92% of the medical staff is board certified in their specialties.
